Shatner
I told them time and time again that Shatner was a rubbish name for a band, but would they listen? So here is a little page about some musical experimentation over the summer of 1998, which was known as Shatner.
Shatner originally consisted of Dan Barrett (guitar/bass), George Payne (drums), Ben Poor (keyboards) and Moh Rahman (guitar), but in a nifty coup about a year into the band’s existence, I ousted Ben and became the keyboard maestro, as well as the bassist.
Some time over the summer of 1998, Shatner kind of drifted into defunctness and eventually death, though no-one was ever actually brutal enough to say so. Still, we wrote some tunes and had some fun and there are a couple of the tunes here. I particularly like Longsong.
