Alice Springs

Tuesday, August 4th, 1998 | Australia 1998 | -23°41', 133°52'

Alice Springs is a strange little town in the middle of absolutely nowhere. On a map of Australia it looks as if it’s right next to Ayer’s Rock, but in fact it’s about 400 miles away. Australia really is stupidly big. We spent a couple of days there, enjoying views from Anzac Hill and a visit to the Flying Doctors museum. It rained while we were there - something it doesn’t do very often at all.
