Thanks to Japan Airlines flight schedules, I had 18 hours to spare between flights on my way home from Australia. I spent my time in Narita, the Tokyo suburb near the airport. I was delighted to find beautiful gardens, bonsai trees, impressive temples, vending machines and even a karaoke bar!
