Eastern Europe 2007

From Worldtraveller

In September 2007 I flew to Warsaw, and travelled east into the Ukraine, Europe's second-largest country but not one I knew much about. I travelled to the picturesque city of Lviv, energetic capital Kiev, and laid-back beach city Odesa. From there I headed seriously off the beaten track into the breakaway Republic of Transdnistria, a completely independent but internationally unrecognised country, and then to the little-known country of Moldova. I finished the tour with a few relaxing days in the Carpathian mountains in Romania.

Photos and writing coming soon.
