A winter trip to a more southerly latitude seemed like a good plan to me in January 2007. I settled on Granada, where I had a very relaxed weekend ambling around, enjoying bright fresh blue skies, coffees in the sunshine, Alhambra views and a healthy dose of the best food Spain can offer - churros con chocolate.
