Trip 11 of 2003 took advantage of the advent of cheap flights from the UK to Finland. I flew to Tampere, and got the train from there to Helsinki. Was it wise to visit Europe's second most northerly capital in November? Well, I had a brilliant time but I wouldn't mind going back in the summer. At least my hostel had a sauna to warm up in.
