Helsinki is compact and elegant, and has no high-rise buildings at all. It's a very pleasant place to sit and have a coffee and watch the world go by, and the Kiasma contemporary art gallery is a fabulous place to spend an afternoon as well. When the November rain eases off you can get out and take photos too.
