La Palma 2001
From Worldtraveller
The main perk of being an astronomer is that the very best observatories in the world are naturally put where the weather's best, so visiting them is naturally a pleasant experience. In August 2001, I was lucky enough to go observing for five nights on the 2.5m Isaac Newton Telescope at the Observatorio el Roque del Muchachos on La Palma. In the spare moments during the run I took lots of photos.
