La Palma 2003

I had an excellent time on my first trip to La Palma, so it was a welcome return when I got more telescope time there in August 2003, and this time I was the PI on the observing proposal so felt much more like it was my efforts that had got me there. Two moonless nights on the 4.2m William Herschel Telescope were the reward, and I found time during the days and nights to go for long walks on the mountain and take a few shots of the night sky as well.
