Four years of being a student had come to an end. My final exam had gone OK. Time to join the real world and get a job. But first I got drunk. Then I relaxed. Then I got on a train and travelled randomly across Europe for a week. The story begins at 8.30am on May 25th 2000, when I left the house to travel from London to Paris.
