Dark, clear skies was what we wanted, and against all odds we got just that, five nights out of six, thanks to a lot of positive vibes from the optimistic members of the group. I took an awful lot of photos, some of which actually came out well. Here they are:

Aftermath of the sunset

Moon, Jupiter and telescope domes

Venus and the last of the daylight

Venus, from inside the 80cm telescope dome

Stars rise

The International Space Station goes over (it's the streak across the top)

Star trails over the 80cm dome

Sky turns around above another dome

The view from inside the 80cm dome

The 80cm telescope

Didier walks by in the night

Stars move constantly; dome moves occasionally

Just trails and the 80cm dome again
