Having previously been to Sweden in the bleak midwinter, with temperatures nearing -20°C, I decided to go back at a less brutal time of year. Fortunately, the weather in September 2004 was about 30°C warmer than it had been in December 2002, and I had an excellent time revisiting places and enjoying not feeling like there was a chance of hypothermia.
