The Tate Modern, formerly Bankside Power Station, contains a colossal former turbine hall, which is used for colossal works of art. One of the most successful installations was Olafur Eliasson's The Weather Project, in which the ceiling of the hall was covered in mirrors, and a large 'Sun' hung at one end, shining through a synthetic haze. Here's some photos from my first visit there.
